The decision to look or think back about your former failed job interview can be far from happening. Many are those who get disappointed and never look back. But a Human Resource expert tells us something different to do after we fail to secure an employment slot after the interview.
She rather admonishes people who are unsuccessful after a job interview to still get in touch with the company, this in her view, will give one a higher chance of being considered for future opportunities.

Follow Up
Now, reach back out. Even though you might not want to think about them again, you should send a follow-up email to your interviewers, 2-3 weeks after your interview.
Thank them for the opportunity to apply, acknowledge their decision to go with a different candidate, and ask that they keep you in mind for future openings.
This lets the employer know that there are no hard feelings and that you’re definitely still interested in being considered in the future.”
