Students Stranded As Bridges At Mecca Road, Georgia And Agric Junction Flood To The Brim (Video)

Some students of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi, are stranded following heavy rains which have flooded vantage points connecting the faculty area and the residential area.

Areas flooded include Mecca Road which connects the major faculty area to the halls of residence, the bridge close to Agric Junction which leads to the bridge at Mecca Road and another bridge near Georgia hostel.

Students are stranded at both ends of the bridges as the flow of the water intensifies. Cars are being forced to return to where they are coming from due to the floods.

Eye witness who are forced to cross the flooded bridges with their footwear in their hands have reported instances of seeing insects, a snake and other scary objects in the flood waters.
