It is publicly traded on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange with the share symbol QFH. Because of its scale, the corporation has created a number of CSR projects to give back to the society and help the underprivileged.

Quantum Foods Bursary 2022

Quantum Foods provides financial help to a limited number of students each year through bursaries.

These are for students who are interested in working in the animal nutrition industry and want to learn more about it.

Two deserving students studying an MSc Agriculture or Honours degree will be chosen for the Quantum Foods bursary program in the academic year 2022. Other disciplines of study or domains will not be considered.

The amount of the bursary is decided on a case-by-case basis. The scholarship will pay either part or all of the tuition costs, depending on the need.

Once you’ve been chosen, the corporation will pay for the remainder of your education. The rest of the costs, such as textbooks, meals, and lodging, are the responsibility of the students.

Students must agree to work for at least 12 months in one of Nova Feeds’ business units as part of the bursary agreement.

Bursars will receive significant practical experience as well as a monthly stipend as a result of this. After the 12-month trial period, the employer may explore permanent hiring.

Eligibility Criteria

You must meet all of the eligibility requirements to be considered for the bursary program. The company uses these to choose the most deserving individuals.

Quantum Foods is unable to sponsor everyone because there are only two bursaries available and the number of applicants typically outnumbers them. As a result, before applying, be sure you meet all of the requirements.

The requirements for Quantum Foods Bursary 2022 are:

  1. Must be a South African citizen (naturalised candidates are also eligible to apply)
  2. Must be either studying or intend on studying towards MSc Agriculture/Honours degree
  3. Must be either studying or willing to study at a tertiary institution that’s recognised and accredited
  4. Must have a strong academic track record
  5. Must have a passion for animal nutrition

However, meeting all of the conditions does not guarantee funding.

This is a merit-based bursary program, therefore students who have demonstrated outstanding academic performance or promise will be given precedence.

The selection choice made by the Quantum Foods committee will be regarded as final.
