The 2020 vice-presidential candidate of the opposition National Democratic Congress, Professor Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang has made a donation to Kayayei in Accra.
The politician cum educationist invited the beneficiaries to his office in Accra for the donation.
Jane Naana extended the gesture to the the group to support them throughout the holy month of Ramadan.

In all, 200 Kayayei received packages from the the vice presidential candidate.
In a Facebook post, Prof Naana Jane revealed that she felt privileged to be personally involved in assisting the beneficiaries.

Earlier today I was privileged to host some 200 Kayeyei in my office at my invitation.
It gave me great pleasure to personally hand out packages intended to assist them successfully finish their fasting in this holy month of Ramadan.
May Almighty Allah accept our prayers and bless our nation.
