The member of parliament for North Tongu and Ranking Member on theCommittee on Foreign Affairs, Hon. Sam Okudzeto Ablakwa, as part of his philanthropic work and love for humanity has together with his family donated monies received as collection during their late father’s funeral service to the Battor Catholic Hospital in the Volta region.
The MP’s aim for the donation is to support vulnerable patients in need of assistance to settle their financiobligations.
In a Tweet on August 17, the MP said
consistent with his family’s announcement at the funeral & memorial service of his late dad, they were at the Battor Catholic Hospital today to donate all collections received for the family during the service. He said they hope it would help vulnerable patients in need of financial support.
The MP’s post has attracted lots of praises as people congratulates him for his good works for his constituency and humanity as a whole.
The funeral which was held in North Tongu was attended by high profile personalities across the political divide including former President John Dramani Mahama and over 80 members of Parliament.
