The first responsibility of a leader is to define reality. The last is to say thank you, in between, the leader is a servant. I have always felt the urge to serve the people around me and be a focal figure in their development, so even in my first year here on campus, I started serving the people around me.

I began my journey of service as a course representative at the department of English. My resolve to serve and lead people was enlivened the more after I won the KNUST Eminence Freshers Most Promising Student Award’19.

A look at the statistics and data points out our college (CoHSS) as the most populated college in KNUST. Many a student will agree with me that despite the efforts of our student leadership, there’s more to be done. The college can be more than it is now, with the right direction, support and leadership.

Fellow students, we’re in another semester of handing over the batons of leadership from the old Elijahs to the new Elisha’s, and with my service to the core agenda, I shall not relent on any day as I’m committed to providing you with the best of service. With this much conviction, I Master Richard Kovor (Dr. K) declares my intention to contest for the Presidency of the College of Humanities and Social Sciences (CoHSS) for the 2021/2022 academic year.

I call on all students to give their unfettered support to the service to the core agenda. My visions, plans, and policies to make CoHSS a better one can only be achieved by your support. In one accord, join me, Master Richard Kovor, on a transformational journey to CoHSS this semester. With service to the core agenda Leadership in the history of our college, is about to be redefined!
Thank you & God bless you for your audience.
