The Student Representative Council of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, has failed to deliver on it’s 5 GB promise for the third time.

Two months ago, the SRC President, Master Samuel Sesah announced at the launch of the 60th Anniversary held at the Kumapley auditorium, that students will enjoy an upgrade on their monthly Vodafone bundle allocations from 2GB to 5GB.

In March, when the upgrade didn’t materialise, the SRC told students that the rest, the 3GB, will be disbursed in batches. That is yet to happen.

A week ago, in a bid to keep students momentum up in anticipation for the bundle increment, the SRC tweeted a teaser on its official twitter handle as shown in the image below.

Two months down the line, the promise has still not materialised. At a press briefing last week Saturday, the Public Relations Officer of the SRC, Charles Tengan assured the media the upgrade will take effect today.

Yesterday evening, the SRC released a flier, telling students “5 GB is here”. At 12 midnight, students received their usual 2 GB as against the assurances and promises made by the SRC.

The monthly bundle allocation came and as usual, it was 2 GB
