The KNUST Student Representative Council has outlined measures for students who are owing fees in the College of Engineering to follow in order to be eligible to write exams.
The SRC Vice President, Morris Effah who announced the interventiothsaid students in the college who owe fees will only be able to write the exams if they go for a chit which shows they are cleared to partake in the exams.
“After a long conversation with some Officers of the College of Engineering ; Students of College of Engineering will write the midsems but would have to go for a chit which would enable them to enter the examination hall.
We are still resolute in bringing every college on board,” he wrote on Twitter.
Reports earlier today claimed that some students in the colleges of Agriculture and Natural Resources and Humanities and Social Sciences were prevented from taking part in the mid-semester exams as a result of owing fees.
