A student in the KNUST class of 2021, Jeff Hammond has been awarded a full scholarship to study at the Coppin State University in Maryland, United States of America.
He will be pursuing a second degree in Computer Science at the historically black Baltimore-based university.
Jeff who was a multiple award winning sportsman both in school competitions, national and regional competitions completed his 4-year Religious Studies programme at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi.
Jeff Hammond was very instrumental as a member of the KNUST sports team. He won a gold medal for the premier Ghanaian science and technology university at the Ghana Universities Sport Association Games.
He ia also a West African Games medalist, an All African Games medalist as well as a KNUST long jump record holder.
Coppin State University, based in Baltimore,Maryland is a historically black institution which specializes in urban liberal arts. The university offers 33 majors 12 graduate degree programmes.
