News coming in indicates that, the hounourable member of parliament for North-Tongu constituency has allegedly resigned as a member of the appointments committee of Parliament.
In a letter sited by trayonlinegh.com, the member of parliament indicated that, this was done based on his personal principles and philosophy. According to him, he took this decision after days of careful reflection and thoughtful considerations.
This sounds surprising to the rank and file of his party, National Democratic Congress and also some Ghanaians.
The resignation emerged after his colleague member of parliament, Hon. Isaac Adongo MP for Bolgatanga Central constituency has openly expressed his disappointment in some of his colleagues NDC members on the appointment committee following the approval of Hon. Ken Ofori-Atta as finance Minister of Ghana.
Earlier on, some of his party members including some national officials have expressed their dismay at the conduct of their members on the appointments committee.
