Henry Osei Akoto a national organizer hopeful for the opposition party NDC has backed calls from Lawyer Martin Kpebu on Members of Parliament to start initiating processes to impeach President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.
The Oforikrom parliamentary candidate who hopes to become the national organizer made a post via his Twitter handle stating that MPs who will obstruct the process should bear in mind that in case the worse happens to this country and there is a coup, there will be no parliament for them to take salaries from.
Hon. Henry Osei made the statement after Private legal practitioner Martin Luther Kpebu expressed anger and frustration at the President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, questioning his recent comments about not being bothered by the vote threats by some disappointed Ghanaians in the Ashanti Region.
According to him, recent actions and utterances of the president have brought the office he occupies into disrepute, therefore, he needs to be removed via constitutional means.
