Frank Owusu pays a courtesy call on Oforikrom MP in pursuit of “Light up off-campus” campaign

Master Frank Owusu, a hopeful KNUST SRC President has paid a courtesy call on the Member of Parliament for Oforikrom Constituency in pursuit of a campaign he is championing.

The campaign which has won several accolades from stakeholders and students is an initiative to contend the rampant robbery attacks of students off-campus due to poor lighting system at some sections of off-campus.

The campaign saw Frank Owusu donate streets lights to the Ayeduase/Kotei assemblyman to help light up various parts of the community with poor lighting system.

Responding to the call of the young technocrat, Hon. Emmanuel Marfo expressed his excitement concerning the bold step taken by Master Frank Owusu to champion such an important campaign.

He indicated that efforts have been put in place to ensure that students within the environs of Oforikrom are safe from attacks in their pursuit of academics excellence, however, the call from him has added up to the many efforts already put in place
