Ghana’s President Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo-Addo is in Germany for a week-long visit on the invite of German Chancellor Angela Merkel.
The President is also expected to meet officials of COVID-19 vaccine manufacturer, Pfizer-BioNTech in Germany to discuss Ghana’s plan to procure more vaccines.
However, the president’s visit wasn’t going to be without hitches. The #FixTheCountry movement has made arrangements for the President in Germany.
Demonstrators were waiting for the President in front of a tall building that could qualify for a company headquarters, a hotel or an office building.
The president’s motorcade arrived in front of the waiting crowd and a waiting security detail.
The crowd started chanting “Fix The Country” as the President disembarked from his car. They also assured the president that they love him but he needs to work on the country.
Some of the demonstrators accused the President of coming to Germany to borrow while Ghana is soo rich with minerals.
