Exams Won’t Be Written In A Rush – Sesah Assures KNUST Students

The president of the Students Representative Council of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Mr Samuel Sesah, has hinted that exams will come off at the appropriate time but not hurriedly.

Mr. Samuel Sesah, who is the SRC president for the 2020/21 made this known via a Twitter post where he said, ” exams will definitely not be written in a haste”.

He gave this hint at a time where students are worried and uncertain regarding the time they will be writing their end of semester examination due to an ongoing strike by the University Teachers Association of Ghana.

The university Teachers Association of Ghana(UTAG) on a letter dated Monday July 15, 2021 indicated their decision to embark on an industrial action on August 2, 2021 is due to failure on the part of government to address the some worsening concerns of UTAG members within an agreed period by the two parties.

Pursuant to this notice, the group(UTAG) has laid down their tools awaiting government’s intervention and satisfaction of their demands and concerns.
