Who is Edjah K. Nduom?
Edjah Kweku Nduom, MD, FAANS, is Associate Professor in the Department of Neurosurgery at Emory University School of Medicine. A fellowship-trained and board certified neurosurgical oncologist, Dr. Nduom’s clinical specialty is the surgical management of brain and spinal cord tumors. Dr. Nduom’s research focuses on the modulation of the immune system for the treatment of malignant brain tumors.

That inbuilt ambition became a part of him until he graduated from college. Having achieved a lot through much study and experiments, the young surgeon now has his works centered on using the immune system to fight brain tumors.

Dr.Edjah K. Nduom received his MD from University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He completed a residency in Neurosurgery at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. He completed a Research Fellowship in Neurosurgical Oncology in the Surgical Neurology Branch of the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke in Bethesda, Maryland, and an additional Neurosurgical Oncology Fellowship at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas.

The young US Neurosurgeon is one of the four children born to Papa Kwesi Nduom and his wife, Mrs. Yvonne Nduom who is a management specialist and a graduate of the University of Cape Coast, Ghana and the University of Wisconsin in the United States.

Edjah K. Nduom happily married to Kelley DeAnne Coleman, daughter of Doctors – Clarence and Janice Coleman – in 2010.
Edjah and his wife Kelley graduated from Stanford University, USA, with Edjah earning his Medical Doctorate degree from the University of Pennsylvania, while Kelley got her Doctorate degree in Law at Harvard University, USA.

Dr. Nduom’s research focuses on the modulation of the immune system for the treatment of malignant brain tumors. He has presented his translational and clinical work on immune therapy for brain tumors at numerous national and international meetings.

Edjah Ndoum And The Biden Presidency
Dr. Edjah Ndoum once tried saving the life of President Biden’s son who died from cancer. The President revealed this in a White House event on February 2nd 2022.
“See that doctor on the end there, That’s the man who spent 18 months trying to save our son’s life. Doctor, I love you. The whole family loves you,” President Biden said at the launch of the Cancer Moonshot.
The “Cancer Moonshot” initiative, is expected to commit the US to working towards reducing the death rate from cancer by at least 50% over the next 25 years.
